I was born and raised in Port Deposit, Maryland, and after serving in the United States Marine Corps, my family and I made Ohio home. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Design & Development from DeVry University, blending technical expertise with a strong artistic foundation in both photography and graphic design.
After the passing of my husband, Kevin Johnson—a retired U.S. Marine of 20 years—I took time to focus on raising our six school-age children. Together, we were blessed with a large, loving family, including children and grandchildren who remind me daily how precious fleeting moments truly are. That season of life deeply shaped how I approach photography today—with intention, empathy, and heart.
Outside of photography, I enjoy playing the piano, drawing, attending my children’s sporting events, and spending time with our two rescued dogs, Ace and Dexter.
